From Anderson, Indiana, Pastor Gwynn was called to Christ in 1961 and subsequently sent to the Hampton Roads area in 1966 to minister to servicemen. He was ordained into Gospel Ministry at Virginia Beach Community Chapel in 1975 and was founding Pastor of Kempsville Chapel (now Grace Covenant Church).
Pastor Gwynn and his wife Sandy have three grown children and four grandchildren. After retiring from full-time ministry in 2007, Pastor Gwynn received the call to preach to and pastor Faith Reformed in 2024.
Stephen and his family are Virginia Beach natives and have faithfully served the Lord for many years. He was called to follow Jesus in 2001 and baptized into the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit soon after. He and his wife Kelly have three children.
Stephen served as Deacon and Elder before being called to the founding membership at Faith Reformed. His most treasured Scripture verse is Isaiah 41:10.
Jacob is a Pastor's son and thus grew up in the faith. There is no time when he remembers not being in church. Jacob and his wife Sierra are both founding members of Faith Reformed. Having served as an interim leader for more than 12 months, this body affirmed Jacob as Deacon in 2025.
Jacob is an avid hunter and remains close to his family. He is also a baseball fanatic, and his favorite team is the New York Yankees.
